SDSHP 44th Annual Conference

The South Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacists invites you to the 2020 – 44th Annual Conference! We hope you can join us for two days of continuing education and networking. This meeting promises something of interest to all pharmacists, managers and directors, technicians, students, and residents, regardless of your practice setting!
SDSHP is thrilled to announce that ASHP CEO, Paul W. Abramowitz, PharmD, ScD. (Hon), FASHP, will be joining us as our keynote speaker for the 2020 SDSHP Annual Meeting. Dr. Abramowitz will be speaking on Friday morning (April 3rd) on the topic of leadership within pharmacy, and he will also be featured during the business meeting and officer installation.
Prior to joining ASHP in 2011, Dr. Abramowitz worked in hospitals and health-systems for 34 years. He served as Associate Hospital Director for Professional Services and Chief Pharmacy Officer at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and Professor at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Within ASHP, Dr. Abramowitz has also previously served as Treasurer (from 2007-2010) and ASHP President (from 1993-1994).

We are excited to announce Residents' CE Seminars taking place in February. These seminars are FREE with 2020 dues!!
Thank you for your current support of SDSHP through your membership in our organization. Your continued participation as an SDSHP member is vital to our efforts in providing leadership and education to health-system pharmacists, technicians and students of our great state.
We invite you to take a few moments now and renew your membership for 2020. Our membership dues are $75 for pharmacists and $20 for technicians/associates. With our new association management software, you can easily renew your membership by clicking HERE. If you have not logged into the system or you forgot your password, click on "forgot user-name/password?".
In order to improve our organization through an expanded membership, we would like to offer to you the following membership incentive.
- If you recruit one new pharmacist or technician member for this year, you and the new member will receive ½ price memberships for 2020. Just mail in your membership renewal form with the information on the new member(s). Please feel free to duplicate the form for information on the new member(s).
- The pharmacist and technician member that recruits the most new members will receive free registration to the 2020 Annual Conference. The Annual Conference will be held April 3-4 at the The Holiday Inn City Centre in Sioux Falls, SD.
